Beginning antenatal care with a doctor who already knows your history, your medications and what you discussed before conceiving is materially different from starting cold. That continuity is the argument for having the pre-pregnancy conversation at the practice you intend to stay with. The GP who does the pre-pregnancy consultation continues the care into the pregnancy. A few minutes from Bulli. Care continues into the pregnancy with a GP who already has your history, rather than starting again with someone new at eight weeks.
