Jennifer went to Queensland University to study medicine and received the University Medal.

She did her hospital residency at the Mater in Brisbane, including a year as a Medical Registrar and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2001). Jennifer has been a partner at Foster Medical Centre in South Gippsland, worked in Noosa, Mosman, North Sydney and most recently was the Practice Principal at Campus Clinic at the University of Wollongong. She has a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from the University of Wales, Diploma in Rural Medicine, and certificate qualifications in Family Planning and Skin Cancer (UQ).

She is also a proud mum of 4 kids and 2 cavoodles and resident of 2515.

Dr Sinead Cassidy

General Practitioner

MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, FRACGP

Dr Cassidy graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2003. She completed her vocational GP training in the U.K. in 2008 and has worked as a GP in Australia since 2009, initially working in rural Victoria and then in the Sutherland Shire.

Dr Cassidy enjoys all aspects of general practice, supporting patients with acute and chronic complaints.

Outside of work Dr Cassidy enjoys outdoor swimming in the many beautiful local sea pool, playing the Wollongong Community Orchestra and exploring the many great coffee and eating spots in the Illawarra.

Dr Milena Ruiz

General Practitioner

MBBS(UNSW) , DCH (USYD), FRACGP

Dr Milena Ruiz graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of New South Wales. She has worked at hospitals including Royal North Shore Hospital and Westmead Children’s Hospital. She specialised as a GP and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs . She has a Diploma in Child Health, provides Antenatal Shared Care (pregnancy), inserts Implanon contraceptive devices and can provide Iron Infusions.

Milena is a compassionate medical practitioner who strives to provide patients with the highest level of care. She has enjoyed working as a GP in Sydney and the Mid North Coast of NSW.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, walking the dog and with her kids in the Vegie Patch.

Dr Rob Nelson

General Practitioner

Dr Nelson grew up on the mid north coast of NSW and completed his medical degree at the University of Wollongong in 2015. He completed residency at Hornsby and Royal North Shore Hospitals before pursuing GP specialist training and subsequently practising on Sydney’s lower north shore. Prior to medicine, he worked as an Exercise Physiologist, and has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine.

Areas of interest include chronic disease management, metabolic health, lifestyle medicine, weight loss, travel medicine, men’s health, paediatrics and sports Medicine.

Although he has some areas of interest, Dr Nelson enjoys looking after people of all ages and health backgrounds. He aims to provide quality and thorough care for all patients.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his young family and (slowly) learning Korean.

Dr Kate Roberts

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery

Dr Kate Roberts graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2015. She undertook GP training in Sydney and Wollongong, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs. She has also pursued further experience in reproductive and sexual health through time spent at Family Planning NT in Darwin. She has now returned to the Illawarra longterm.

Kate has a special interest in women’s health, fertility, inserts implanon contraceptive devices, and will soon be accredited to provide Antenatal Shared Care for pregnancy. She is also a provider of medical terminations. She is passionate about ensuring that her patients feel empowered in their healthcare journeys.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys ocean swimming, good food, and spending time with her young family.
