Book a longer appointment so there is time to review the whole picture rather than a single symptom.

Your GP prepares a plan. Where you are eligible, this is a GP Management Plan setting out your goals, treatment and monitoring.

Allied health, where appropriate. Team Care Arrangements may give you access to Medicare-subsidised allied health servicesdietetics and psychology are available on site.

Regular review. Your GP schedules reviews to check progress and adjust treatment, with pathology collected on site.

Consider registering for MyMedicare with your usual GP, which supports continuity of care.

Our doctors are independent practitioners and set their own fees. Reception can advise the fee policy of the doctor you are seeing, but cannot confirm the exact amount before your visit — your doctor selects the Medicare item number on the day, based on the length and complexity of the consultation. Care planning and review appointments have their own Medicare item numbers. Your GP will explain what applies to you and confirm your eligibility before anything is prepared. Allied health sessions accessed under a care plan are subsidised for eligible patients; the practitioner’s own fee may still apply. Fees are payable on the day by EFTPOS or credit card. We can transmit your Medicare claim electronically so your rebate is returned the same day.

What are your opening hours?
8:30am–4:30pm Monday to Friday, closed public holidays. After hours: Radiodoctor Illawarra 4228 5522 (bulk-billed home visit or telephone), or the Urgent Primary Care Centre at Bulli Hospital 4249 1300.
I need a quick appointment, can you fit me in?
A small number of same-day appointments are set aside — ring reception on 4202 6900. Sick children and pregnant women are prioritised.
What are the best parking options?
Public car parks on Railway Pde, on Station St over the railway bridge, and the large public car park on Church St.
How are fees set?
The doctors are independent practitioners who set their own fees; reception can advise each doctor's fee policy before your visit.
What is a GP Management Plan?
A structured plan your GP prepares with you, setting out your health goals, the treatment involved, and how progress will be monitored. It is reviewed regularly.
Do I qualify for subsidised allied health?
Patients with an eligible chronic condition and a care plan may access Medicare-subsidised allied health services. Your GP will confirm whether you qualify.
How often should my plan be reviewed?
Your GP will recommend a review schedule based on your condition. Reviews are what keep the plan useful.
What is MyMedicare?
A voluntary registration linking you to your usual practice and GP, which supports continuity of care. Ask reception how to register.
What is a chronic condition management plan?
A structured plan your GP prepares for a long-term health condition, setting out your goals, treatment and which other health professionals are involved.
Which conditions can be managed with a care plan?
Long-term conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, high cholesterol, migraine, arthritis and chronic back pain.
Am I eligible?
Eligibility depends on having a chronic condition likely to last at least six months. Your GP will assess this.
How often should the plan be reviewed?
Plans are reviewed regularly so treatment stays current — your GP will advise timing.
What allied health can I be referred to?
Depending on your condition — dietitian, physiotherapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, psychology and others. An accredited practising dietitian consults from our rooms.
Do I need a long appointment?
Yes — book a longer appointment so there's time to prepare the plan properly.
