How it works

How we deliver

Tell reception what you need. A certificate, a WorkCover report and an iron infusion require very different appointment lengths.

Bring the paperwork. For insurance or WorkCover matters, bring any forms, claim numbers and correspondence.

Your appointment. Your GP completes the assessment required for the report, or administers the infusion with our nurse.

Iron infusions specifically. These take longer and include a period of observation afterwards. Allow extra time.
5
Documents to you. Certificates and reports can be emailed to you directly.

Our doctors are independent practitioners and set their own fees. Reception can advise the fee policy of the doctor you are seeing, but cannot confirm the exact amount before your visit — your doctor selects the Medicare item number on the day, based on the length and complexity of the consultation. Insurance and WorkCover reports, and some certificates, are not claimable through Medicare and attract a private fee. Reception can advise before your appointment. Iron infusions are a longer appointment with observation time; costs will be explained beforehand. Fees are payable on the day by EFTPOS or credit card. We can transmit your Medicare claim electronically so your rebate is returned the same day.

I need a quick appointment, can you fit me in?
A small number of same-day appointments are set aside — ring reception on 4202 6900. Sick children and pregnant women are prioritised.
What are the best parking options?
Public car parks on Railway Pde, on Station St over the railway bridge, and the large public car park on Church St.
How are fees set?
The doctors are independent practitioners who set their own fees; reception can advise each doctor's fee policy before your visit.
Can I get a backdated medical certificate?
