A genetic result read alone at a kitchen table is a poor way to learn something significant. Results are given in an appointment, by a doctor who knows your history and can say what it means for you and what, if anything, follows. Results are delivered in a booked appointment rather than sent without context. Woonona patients travel north. Results are given in person by a GP who knows your history, rather than arriving as a document you interpret alone.
